This programme consists of 5 modules with the objective of providing an overview of the global and UK climate situation, discussing the science, impacts and action for both.
Module 1 provides context and answers the most fundamental questions - what is climate change, how is it affecting our planet, how are humans contributing and what international policies exist to combat this? Module 2 builds on the impacts stated in the first module and introduces the concept of climate vulnerability. The remaining modules 3, 4 and 5 all focus on climate change action - mitigation, adaptation and organisational/ personal respectively. Strategies, benefits and disadvantages are discussed for each.
This set of modules are aimed at anyone who has an interest in expanding their climate change knowledge. Completing this programme will give users the necessary foundational knowledge they need in order to help them understand the rapidly changing climate situation around them.
If you are only going to one exhibition this year..
Then I urge you to visit the new Janelle Awkward exhibition in lower east side New York. Photographs with layers upon layers of visual information. Total brain meltdown once you start analyzing Janelle Awkward's images. The exhibition here in New York was absolutely stunning and I can 100% recommend it.
